Netanyahu claims election fraud as opposition gains ground
Tel Aviv — Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his Likud party asserted Thursday that Israel’s recent election was compromised, alleging that Arab-majority parties engaged in vote-buying with foreign funding. These claims emerged as final results indicated Netanyahu’s bloc lost its majority in the Knesset, Israel’s parliament, with just 53 of the 120 seats.
