Rapper Rick Ross faces misdemeanor charge after felony dismissal
Miami Beach, Florida – Prosecutors have withdrawn a felony charge against rapper Rick Ross, whose legal name is William Roberts II, following his arrest last month. The Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office announced Thursday that the felony charge of battery by strangulation was dropped due to a lack of sufficient evidence. However, Ross still faces a misdemeanor charge of domestic violence battery.
