Vedder is currently located at 1633 Broadway and plans to relocate in 2027. The deal was brokered by a Savills team consisting of David Goldstein, Joseph Learner, and Scott Weiss, representing Vedder. Cushman & Wakefield, with Robert Lowe, Paige Engeldrum, Dan Organ, and Pierce Hance, and Marisa Gadlin from Rockefeller Group, handled the landlord’s representation.

“Vedder is an outstanding fit that will strengthen the building’s tenant roster for many years to come,” stated Marisa Gadlin.

1221 Sixth Avenue is experiencing significant activity, with NBC Universal recently renewing its lease for 200,000 square feet. The building’s retail spaces, including Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse, also continue to thrive.

Rockefeller Group is currently seeking tenants for the tower’s retail plaza.

In separate news, a new wine bar and Italian market, Two Sisters, is slated to open at 944 First Avenue, between East 51st and 52nd Streets. The venture is led by Elvana and Elez Bucaj, owners of Elias’s Casa Bianca and Teura Italian.
